The base is an epoxy-class primer that soaks into the ground concrete. The topcoat is polyaspartic, which is what makes it UV stable, chemical resistant and ready to park on in 72 hours instead of a week. Plain epoxy yellows in a Florida garage with the door open.
Properly prepped, a polyaspartic floor is a fifteen to twenty year floor. The installer warranty on the interior is in your written quote. Exterior surfaces like lanais and driveways are confirmed separately before install.
Cracks and pits are ground out and filled before the base coat. Oil is ground off, not cleaned off. If the slab has a moisture problem that a coating will not survive, we tell you before you pay for anything.
